Bournville hooker Ben Rhodes will miss the remainder of the National Two West season having suffered a serious bicep injury in the defeat at Loughborough Students two weeks ago.
Rhodes suffered a torn left bicep in the second-half of the match and has since undergone surgery to re-attach it.
Although the operation was a success Rhodes will miss the last three months of the season.
Rhodes, who joined Bournville from Welsh Premiership side Merthyr last summer, joins back-row forward Chris Idehen (Achilles tendon) and wing Will Aylen (anterior cruciate knee ligament) on the list of players whose season has been cut short.
Prop Chad Thorne, who suffered a fractured chest bone before Christmas, is also on the long-term injured list and it will be a further four to six weeks before he is able to resume contact training.
