Bournville have strengthened the depth of the back five of the pack with the signing of Kier Henderson.
Henderson will step up from Regional Midlands Two North club Sutton Coldfield and his versatility with his ability to play across the back-row or at lock will be an asset for the 2024/25 National Two West season.
“Kier will increase competition in the pack,” said Bournville Director of Rugby Paul Sumner.
“His keeness to learn has already impressed the coaches and we are looking forward to getting him on board.”
Bournville have already enjoyed success in developing players who have stepped up from clubs in lower leagues with Nathan Decalmer (Telford Hornets), Alex Evans (Burnage) and Josh Bloomfield (Stratford) all making a smooth transition to National Leagues rugby in the 2023/24 campaign.
Henderson, who has also played for Cardiff Met University, is Bournville’s fifth new signing for next season and joins the 28 members of the current squad who have re-signed.
