Free entry to Midlands Hurricanes home matches for Bournville full members

Dear Member/Supporter
Bournville members are invited and very welcome to watch Midlands Hurricanes rugby league club’s first home matches at Avery Fields.
Originally, the plan was that they were to join us for the 2027 season, but circumstances changed rather quickly.
The committee is fully behind this new partnership that has many synergies and will accelerate progress towards ensuring the club’s long term sustainability.
There will be no charge this season for all full members. Social members and guests can book in advance on the Hurricanes’ website or pay on the gate – £17 Adults (26+), £14 Young Adults (16-25), Concessions (65+), Students £9 & U16s £2.
As part of the partnership between the cross-code clubs, Bournville full members will be able to watch Birmingham’s only professional rugby league club in action in the Betfred Championship and Rugby League Challenge Cup upon production of their membership card.
Hurricanes will play their historic first match at Avery Fields this Sunday (January 18) when Newcastle Thunder are the visitors for the opening league match of the season (2pm).
Hurricanes will then host Welsh club, Aberavon Fighting Irish, in a Challenge Cup second round match at Avery Fields on Sunday January 25th. KO time 5pm.
On Hurricanes’ bigger match days, the clubhouse will be used for sponsors, players and officials only but that does not apply to the two fixtures this month.
For the bigger fixtures, food and beverage outlets and toilets will be provided elsewhere in the ground.
We hope you can support our new rugby league partners.
Many thanks
Alex Bann
(Chairman)
