Bournville helped to spread some Christmas cheer by again donating to the B30 and South Birmingham Foodbank.
Essential items were collected over a three-week period in the clubhouse at Avery Fields and delivered to the Foodbank’s warehouse in Kings Norton by Bournville Managing Director Phil Maynard in time for them to be delivered before Christmas.
In the past week alone the Foodbank has given out 3,363kg of food to feed 425 people in 171 households in south Birmingham.
“On behalf of all our clients, we say a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ for your kindness and generosity and wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas period and a brighter 2025,” said Christine Kearns on behalf of the Foodbank Volunteer Team.
