Bournville have made full-back prospect Josh Tutt their latest recruit for the 2024/National Two West season.
Tutt arrives at Avery Fields from Broadstreet where he had his first taste of adult rugby last season having come through the ranks at Old Northamptonians.
Tutt, 19, has played county rugby for East Midlands at Under-18s and Under-20s levels and Bournville Director of Rugby Paul Sumner is excited by his potential for development.
“Josh is a super-talented full back who had his first year of adult rugby in level five last season,” Sumner said.
“Josh will develop in our environment and we are excited to see how far that can take him.”
During his season with Broadstreet, Tutt also played league rugby for their Second XV and also demonstrated his versatility by playing on the wing and in the centre.
Before he reports for pre-season training at Avery Fields, Tutt has one match left to play in the 2023/24 season and it is a big one.
On Saturday June 15 he will run out at Twickenham as vice-captain of East Midlands Under-20s in the Jason Leonard Under-20s County Championship final against Dorset & Wiltshire.
