Bournville’s pair of pacy wings Abbie Rowley and Molly McParland have been included in the North Midlands senior squad for this season’s Gill Burns County Championship Division Two campaign.
Rowley and McParland have been in sparkling form for the Golds in Women’s NC 1 Midlands (West) this season with Rowley scoring 12 league tries and McParland six and those performances have been noted by the county selectors.
Rowley has already played for North Midlands but this is a first call-up to the county senior side for McParland.
North Midlands host East Midlands at Worcester RFC on May 10 then travel to Aylesbury to play Buckinghamshire on May 24 for their second Pool Three match.
