Wing Eddie Wiggins will make his league debut for Bournville in Saturday’s Regional One Midlands match at Lutterworth (2.15pm).
Wiggins joined Bournville from Leighton Buzzard last season and was part of the Blues’ – the club’s second XV – squad that won promotion in their first season in the RFU leagues structure.
Wiggins made his senior debut in the pre-season friendly against Silhillians in August but sustained an injury in that match and only recently returned to action with the Blues.
He gets a competitive debut this week as full-back Mauro Miller and centre Joe Jenkins, who both impressed in the victory over Lichfield two weeks ago, are unavailable.
Mikey Ho moves from the right wing to full-back and there is a seasonal debut for Head Coach and former Scotland centre Alex Grove in Jenkins’s absence.
There are four more changes in the pack where lock Ben Meakin returns to captain the side having missed the Lichfield match with a swollen knee. Meakin replaces Kieran Henderson who suffered a concussion two weeks ago.
Hooker Jamie Harding starts in a swap with Ben Rhodes, who is on the bench this week, with Clarkson McLeod starting at tighthead prop and Chris Idehen on the blindside flank.
Jonjo Fanning moves across to the middle of the back-row from blindside in a positional change.
On the bench Danny Griffin returns to the squad having recovered from injury and with the benefit of a run-out with the Blues at Southam.
Bournville will break new ground with a first competitive meeting with Lutterworth who were promoted as last season’s Regional Two Midlands East champions with an unbeaten record.
They have made a confident start to life at the higher level and have won five of their eight matches to date including all three at their Ashby Lane home.
They also won away at Newport and are fifth in the table, six points behind Bourns who sit top.

Both sides were promoted last season with Upton pipping the Blues to the league title.
Asher Futerman, who played his first match for the club in the first team at Bromsgrove earlier in the season, will make his second appearance, this time in the centre for the Blues.
Scrum-half Adam Collingwood and back-row forward Ollie Morris have also played first team rugby this season.
