Hooker James Weaver and number eight Jasper Smith will start for Bournville in Saturday’s National Two West match against Taunton Titans at Veritas Park (3pm).
Smith has recovered from the knee injury that ruled him out of last Saturday’s home win over Redruth and comes back into the starting XV in place of Jonjo Fanning who is unavailable due to work commitments.
Club captain Weaver returns having sat out the Redruth match with Jake Bailey named among the replacements.
The only other change to the matchday squad is the inclusion of Wales Sevens international utility back Joe Jenkins who has been named among the replacements having started at Macclesfield two weeks ago.
Saturday’s match will be Bournville’s first meeting with Taunton, an established National Leagues club who were relegated from National One last season.
They beat Hornets 34-19 in their previous home match which was sandwiched between defeats in the road at Loughborough Students and, last week, at Camborne.
Taunton are coached by Tony Yapp whose playing career included a stint at Worcester where he was coached by Phil Maynard, now Bournville’s Managing Director.
Last month Taunton announced the signing of centre Ollie Devoto after nine seasons with Exeter Chiefs but the former England international has yet to make his debut for his new club.
