Local rugby players have been given the opportunity to play golf on one of the region’s most prestigious courses and raise money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation.
The Midlands Golf Day will take place at the Edgbaston Golf Club which is set in stunning scenery barely a mile from the centre of Birmingham on June 26.
Raffle proceeds from the day will go to the IPF which supports players at any level of the game who have sustained a life-changing injury while playing rugby union in England. More info at www.RFUIPF.org.uk
Places are available for teams of four at a cost of £500 per team.
This includes:
- A bacon/sausage bap* and hot drink on arrival (*vegetarian options also available)
- A two-course supper
- 18 holes on Edgbaston Golf course – designed by the legendary H.S. Colt and voted in the top three courses in Warwickshire
- Shotgun start
