Recent recruit Reiss Price will make his first start for Bournville in Saturday’s National Two West match against Taunton Titans at Avery Fields (2.30pm).
The scrum-half joined from league rivals Luctonians just before Christmas and impressed when he came off the bench in the second-half of last week’s defeat at Redruth.
He will start this week which means that Freddie Morgan will switch to full-back, the position he finished at Redruth.
Bournville have made three more changes as they attempt to end a run of seven straight defeats with Ben Rhodes returning at hooker having recovered from the illness that ruled him out last week.
Jonjo Fanning starts at number eight in a re-jigged back-row with Adam Shaw restored on the openside flank having recovered from the head injury he sustained against Macclesfield four weeks ago.
Rhys Williams, who started at full-back last week, is named on the bench this week along with wing Dan Rundle, who was a late addition to the matchday squad at Redruth.
Taunton will be making their first-ever visit to Avery Fields having edged out Bournville 27-20 in the first meeting between the clubs in September.
Having been relegated from National One last season, Taunton are pushing hard for an immediate return to the third tier and drew 38-38 against league leaders Camborne at home in their most recent match last week.
Meanwhile Bournville’s away match at Loughborough Students next week has been switched from Saturday January 25 to Friday January 24 with a 7.45pm kick-off at East Park.
