Bournville now have two full internationals in the first team squad after flanker Louis Mifsud made a successful debut for Malta in their 24-14 victory over Cyprus in Limassol in the Rugby Europe Conference Group D.
Mifsud joins centre Alex Grove, who won three Scotland caps during his time with Worcester Warriors, as a full international.
He is only the second player to be capped while a Bournville player after Gary Baldwin who represented Bermuda.
Mifsud started at openside flanker in the Tsiro Stadium and played the full 80 minutes of a busy international debut.
Mifsud, who qualifies for Malta through his paternal grandparents, will have further international opportunities as Malta have home and away internationals against Israel on dates to be confirmed.
