NATIONAL LEAGUE 2 WEST ACTION RETURNS THIS SATURDAY!

After a revelatory pre-season with some challenges thrown in for good measure, the revitalised, battle-ready Bournville squad stands poised to enter the arena of National 2 once more.

Under the new coaching regime, the lads are now fitter and more ready than ever to take on the new season.

Pre-season saw them beat National League 2 North stalwarts, Sheffield Tigers, at home and also give Bridgend Ravens – a team playing at a higher level – a run for their money on Ravens’ home turf with a scoreline which saw a narrow loss for Bourns by just 3 points… undoubtedly a little closer than Ravens had bargained for.

The 2023/4 season opener sees us take on Hinckley away at Leicester Road. Hinckley are a strong side with a formiddable reputation and fared well last season. Bourns are well aware that this will be a massive game to kick things off on away turf.

With Bournville looking stronger than ever before, this is a game you don’t want to miss.
