Kieran Henderson will return to action for Bournville in Saturday’s Regional One Midlands match against Banbury at Avery Fields (3pm).
The lock had to sit out last week’s 15-14 win at Lutterworth after he was concussed against Lichfield two weeks earlier but he has now been cleared to return and comes straight into the starting XV in place of the unavailable Ben Meakin.
Jacob Fewtrell will captain Bourns in Meakin’s absence and will lead a side that shows five other changes to the one that beat Lutterworth.
Full-back Mauro Miller and centre Joe Jenkins, who were both unavailable last week, return which allows Mikey Ho to switch back to the right wing in place of Eddie Wiggins and for Alex Grove to concentrate on his coaching duties.
In the front-row Ben Rhodes and Danny Griffin start at hooker and loosehead prop respectively, swapping places with Jamie Harding and Scott Rudge who are named as replacements this week.
In the back-row Callum Nicholls, who impressed off the bench last week, starts at blindside flanker in place of the unavailable Chris Idehen.
Utility back – and occasional back-row forward – Adam Collingwood returns to the first team squad as a replacement after two outing for The Blues.
Saturday’s match will be Bournville’s first meeting with Banbury in almost 15 years. Back then Bourns completed a double with a 39-8 win at Bournbrook on December 11 2010, which followed a 22-20 victory at Banbury earlier in the season.
Those matches were played in Midlands One West, since when Banbury have yoyoed between the Midlands and South West leagues with their location in north Oxfordshire making them prime candidates for level transfers.
This is their third season in Regional One Midlands following finishes of eighth and seventh so far.
They will arrive for their first visit at Avery Fields in ninth place having won three and lost six of their nine games although three of those defeats have been by margins of two points or fewer.
