A massive thank you to all those who responded to our survey at the end of last season. There was lots of great feedback in there and the committee is now in a position to share what progress has been made and what our focus areas are for this season and beyond.
We received 157 responses in total with over 90% of respondents giving positive feedback on the quality of coaching, equipment and feeling welcomed at the club which is fantastic. On the flip side the responses were less positive about the kit provision, the communication of events and a low number of those who filled in the survey used the clubhouse or attended club events. We also had feedback about lack of clarity over player progression.

Player Progression
Huge progress has been made here with players who have been with us since Under-6 representing a number of senior teams:
– Nieve McNally – Women’s 1st XV (Golds)
– Oscar Fawkes-Underwood – Men’s 1st XV
– George Bann / Seb Dargue – Men’s 2nd XV
– Felix Causey, Tom Chandler, Alfie Chandler, Josh McCabe – Men’s 3rd XV
Every Tuesday and Thursday multiple players who have come through the ranks train with our senior teams which is great to see. Special mention to Matt Mirecki for driving these links, and to all the senior teams who have made our younger players feel so welcomed.

We have a fantastic new menu and a great team running our clubhouse but it is underused at the moment. Please come and see us on a Sunday for a coffee or a breakfast, especially now the winter is drawing in!
