Seven current and four former Bournville junior players will be in action at Twickenham on Thursday March 13.
They will be in the King Edward’s, Birmingham squad for the Continental Tyres National Schools Under-18 Vase final against King’s School from Gloucester.
Four members of the club’s Colts team – Charlie Hollingsworth, Freddie Geoghegan, Kai Mewar and Tom Underwood – plus Under-16s players Milo Dowling and Will Smallwood will be joined by former Bourns players Andy King, Harri Jervis, Saumik Chenna and Tom Dean in the KES squad.
They all helped KES defeat Ampleforth College from Yorkshire in the recent semi-final at Aylesbury RFC to take the school through to their first national final since 1993.
