Bournville have made three changes to the starting XV for Saturday’s National Two West match against Hornets at Hutton Moor Road (2.30pm).
Fly-half James Mann, tighthead prop Stef Thorp and openside flanker Chris Idehen all sustained injuries during last week’s 43-24 victory over Loughborough Students forcing the changes to a winning side.
Jacob Fewtrell, who replaced Mann during the second-half against Loughborough, starts this week in the only change to the back division.
Chad Thorne comes into the starting line-up as Thorp’s replacement and Nick Murphy returns to partner skipper Ben Meakin in the second row which allows Ben O’Sullivan to move to the back-row to cover Idehen’s absence.
Kier Henderson, who impressed on his competitive debut last week, has kept his place at blindside flanker for the trip to Weston-Super-Mare.
On the bench, lock Harry Dawson returns to the squad along with centre Sam Grimshaw, who was rested last week.
Bourns will be making a quick return to Hornets having won there 30-24 in the penultimate match of last season, which was the only away win of the campaign.
Bournville again head down the M5 seeking the first away win of the season against a Hornets side who have lost four of their first five matches but who beat Hinckley 64-42 in their last home match two weeks ago.
Their previous two home matches were defeats against Loughborough Students – 32-20 – and Redruth – 29-27 – in the season opener.
