Bournville Blues moved into eighth place in the Counties Two Midlands West (East) table with a comfortable 48-15 bonus points win against Lutterworth IIs at Avery Fields.
The win enabled the Blues to leapfrog their Leicestershire visitors in the table and avenged a heavy defeat at Lutterworth earlier in the season.
The Blues ran in eight tries, two of them scored by wing Ben Fellows, with centre Eugene Madzima, who impressed on his debut for the first XV at Nuneaton last week, continuing his impressive progress by crossing for another.
Flanker Sam Barnickle, who played for North Midlands Under-18s earlier in the season, a scored his first try for the Blues with fly-half Oscar Fawkes-Underwood, another product of the club’s Player Pathway Programme, converting four of the tries.
The Blues round off their season against second-placed Berkswell & Balsall at Avery Fields on April 25 (3pm).
