Clubs from across North Midlands will be descending on Avery Fields on Sunday February 2 for a Love Rugby Festival.
Love Rugby is a girls’ rugby campaign launched by the RFU to help clubs and schools to attract and encourage new players with the target of 5,000 new players over the next four years.
The Festival at Avery Fields is expected to attract more than 150 girls aged between ten and 15 with all three pitches in use.
Bournville head the list of participating clubs with Stourbridge, Droitwich, Shrewsbury, Dudley Kingswinford, Worcester, Kidderminster Carolians, Veseyans, Kings Norton, Bromyard, Bridgnorth, Silhillians, Clee Hill, Luctonians, Old Halesonians and Newport also due to send teams.
