M&Js benefit from senior experience as part of Bourns’ Five-Year Strategy

Matt Mirecki, Head of Bournville’s Player Pathway Programme, and players from Bournville Golds ran a recent training session with youngsters from the club’s flourishing and Mini and Junior section.

Mirecki supported a session on contact with Bourns’ Under-9s  with the Golds players leading a session on tackling with the Under-10s age group.

The session formed part of the club’s recently-launched five-year strategy, One Club, One Focus, of which linking the M&J section more closely with the senior club is a kay part.

Alex Grove, Bourns Head Coach, has already run a session with 20 coaches from  across the club, including some from the M&J section, as part of the Coaching Development Pathway initiative.

Other sessions will be held linking all sections of the club as the season progresses.
