Bournville Golds wings Abbie Rowley and Molly McParland have been named in North Midlands squad for their opening match in this season’s Gill Burns County Championship Division Two against East Midlands at Worcester RFC on Sunday (2pm).
Rowley, who has already played senior county rugby, has been named as a starter by North Midlands with McParland set to make her county debut off the bench.
The pair have been sparkling form for the Golds in this season’s NC1 Midlands (West) campaign with Rowley running in 14 tries and McParland seven.
North Midlands’ other match in Pool Three of the County Championship is away to Buckinghamshire at Aylesbury on May 24.
