EASTER HAF CAMPS

The Avery Fields Community Foundation, Bournville RFC and Engage Community will again be providing a range of sporting and educational activities and healthy food during the forthcoming Easter school holiday.

The camps at Avery Fields in Sandon Road, Edgbaston will be run as part of the Government’s Holiday Activity and Food initiative to provide children who receive benefit-related free school meals with fun and engaging activities and a free healthy and nutritious lunch.

The camps will involve multi-sports in the morning and arts and crafts activities in the afternoon.

The camps, which are part of the Bring It On Brum! programme, will run from April 2 to 5 from 10am to 2pm for boys and girls aged from five to 14 years-old. The camps are free for children who receive benefit-related free school meals.

The HAF Camps are an important part of the Avery Fields Community Foundation’s engagement with the local community in south Birmingham and Sandwell and are delivered by Engage Community who were founded by Bournville Head Coach Matt Price to aid the enrichment, well-being and health of communities through wide-ranging and exceptional opportunities.
